Hamas executes fellow Palestinians hours after peace treaty signing

(Compiled from Reuters, NY Post and Ynetnews) – Hamas carried out mass public executions of fellow Palestinians in Gaza on Monday, gruesome video shows — as the bloodthirsty terror group desperately seeks to maintain control over the Palestinian enclave and punish those it deems “collaborators with Israel.”

The barbaric reprisal came just hours after President Trump declared the “end of an age of terror and death” and he and other world leaders signed the Trump Peace Plan during a summit in Egypt as Phase 1 of the president’s peace deal.

The graphic footage shows eight badly beaten, blindfolded Palestinian men kneeling in the street before each is shot dead by Hamas gunmen in front of a cheering crowd, some of whom filmed the events.

The terror group said, without providing evidence, that the killings targeted “criminals and collaborators with Israel,” the BBC reported. There was no trial, no judge, no jury.

Among those killed was Ahmad Zidan al-Tarabin, reportedly responsible for recruiting men to a rival non-Hamas-aligned militia, Israeli outlet Ynetnews reported.

Following the IDF’s [Israel Defense Forces] withdrawal, Hamas has quickly looked to reassert its control over Gaza, targeting the “clans,” or family-based armed groups that had gained strength during the conflict. Since the ceasefire took hold, Hamas has murdered at least 32 fellow Palestinians in a crackdown on these groups.

The Palestinian terror group began its deadly reprisals before the peace deal was even signed. On Sunday, 52 members of the powerful Dagmoush clan were killed in clashes with Hamas’ internal security forces, while 12 Hamas terrorists, including the son of senior official Bassem Naim, also died, according to reports in Gaza.

Hamas militants reportedly used ambulances to storm the neighborhood of the clan, whom they accused of collaboration with Israel.

“It’s a massacre. They’re dragging people away, children are screaming and dying, they’re burning our houses. What did we do wrong?” one clan member’s daughter told Ynet News.

Greatly weakened by the IDF during the war, Hamas gradually sent members back into the streets of Gaza since the ceasefire with Israel began on Friday…according to two security sources in the territory.

On Monday, Hamas deployed members of its Qassam Brigades military wing as it freed the last living hostages taken from Israel over two years ago. It was a reminder of one of the major challenges facing US President Donald Trump’s effort to secure a lasting deal for Gaza, as the US, Israel, and many other nations demand that Hamas disarm.

Reuters footage showed dozens of Hamas terrorists lined up at a hospital in southern Gaza, one wearing a shoulder patch identifying him as a member of the “Shadow Unit” that Hamas sources say was tasked with guarding hostages.

One of the Gaza sources, a security official, said that since the ceasefire, Hamas forces had killed 32 members of “a gang affiliated with a family in Gaza City,” while six of its personnel had also been killed.

Under Trump’s peace plan, Hamas was expected to disarm and surrender governance of Gaza, something the terror group has refused to do.

Under Trump, the US-brokered ceasefire went into effect on Friday, and Hamas released the remaining 20 hostages believed to be alive on Monday, as per the terms of the deal.

The terror group was also required to return the remains of all deceased hostages, but only handed over four on Monday. The terms of the deal gave Hamas some leeway in this regard, however.
