Over the two years of war with Israel, which was brought on by Hamas' barbaric attack into Israel in which they brutally murdered over 1,200 and took 251 hostage into Gaza, Hamas hijacked most of the aid trucks meant to be distributed to their fellow Palestinians in Gaza for free. They kept supplies for their own fighters and sold some on the Black market for exorbitant prices. Any Palestinians caught or suspected of attempting to steal some of the food to feed their families were either executed in the street or had their legs shot up by Hamas terrorists.
