The president also criticized NATO countries for buying Russian energy, pointing out that by doing so, they “are funding the war against themselves.” He said the two actions these countries should take to force Russia to end the war are to impose the same tariffs on Russia the U.S. is, and immediately cease all energy purchases from Russia.

Also in his address to the UN on Tuesday, Trump said renewable energy is too expensive and must be massively subsidized by the government to be affordable to use, and is not able to produce enough sufficient, affordable and reliable power. He warned leaders, “if you don’t get away from the green energy scam, your country is going to fail.”
8. Trump also pointed out that United Nations officials in the 1980s said that climate change would cause a global catastrophe by 2030.

President Trump met with the leaders of eight Arab and Muslim countries at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Tuesday and presented his plan for ending the Gaza war, releasing the hostages and rehabilitating the Gaza Strip under non-Hamas rule. The leaders reacted with anger to the president’s plan.
