1.  A federal appeals court panel ruled this week that the United States discriminates against the blind because the country's paper currency is the same size regardless of a bill's value.  This could result in the Treasury Department being required to change the size and shape of American paper currency to help the blind identify different denominations.  (Read the story here.)
