NOTE: Mainly Democrats and a few Republicans oppose Trump’s authorization of the military mission to capture and extradite Venezuela’s Nicholas Maduro, who has been wanted by the U.S. since 2020 – without prior approval from Congress. They say he violated the War Powers Act of 1973.
