Republican Congressman John Mica, chairman of the House Transportation Committee who wrote the legislation that established the TSA (Transportation Security Administration).  Rep. Mica says the TSA has been “hijacked by bureaucrats” and as for keeping the American public safe, “They’ve failed to actually detect any threat in 10 years.”
