‘Dumb and Disrespectful’ 
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, last seen inappropriately expressing her political opinions, is weighing in again, this time on a considerably lower-stakes question, the Hill reports:

Ginsburg says NFL player Colin Kaepernick’s protest during the national anthem is “dumb and disrespectful.”

“Would I arrest them for doing it? No.” she told Yahoo News Monday, referring to Kaepernick and other athletes who have followed the quarterback’s lead. “I think it’s dumb and disrespectful. It’s dangerous to arrest people for conduct that doesn’t jeopardize the health or well-being of other people.”

Ginsburg added that she would have the same response for more drastic demonstrations.

“I would have the same answer if you asked me about flag burning,” she said. “I think it’s a terrible thing to do. I wouldn’t lock up a person for doing it.”

“I would point out how ridiculous it seems to me to do such an act,” Ginsburg added. “What I would do is strongly take issue with the point of view that they are expressing when they do that.

“If they want to be stupid, there’s no law that should be preventive. If they want to be arrogant, there’s no law that prevents them from that.”
