The Wrath of Science
From an editorial in the Olympian, local newspaper of Washington’s state capital:

The life expectancy of people born in 2012 has increased to 78.8 years, or 36.5 days longer than people born in 2011. Here’s one way to interpret that: humans are slowly destroying our planet’s environment, so, as punishment, we’re living longer to experience the damage.

Wow, these guys are serious Old Testament environmentalists.
