1. This cartoon refers to an attempted murder at the University of North Carolina on March 3 in which a recent graduate, Mohammed Reza Taheriazar purposely drove an SUV into pedestrians on campus. He said he acted to "avenge the deaths of Muslims around the world." In reporting the incident, the mainstream media apparently ignored the hate crime and terrorist aspects of the story.
